When my parents and I came to the USA, I was too young to remember how it was for them. When I grew up, I realized that the Jewish community helped them begin life again in this country. There will be new immigrants in every generation, and we will always need to be sure that Jews can escape persecution and resettle in our community or in Israel. We hope that our gift to the Jewish community will set an example for our children, encouraging them to leave the world a little better for their children and generations to come.
