Myra Rosenberg Litman, M.D.
My parents, of blessed memory, operated a small store in a neighborhood where anti-Semitic incidents often occurred. They worked very hard to provide little more than the basic essentials, but they also instilled Jewish values in my sister and me. Tzedakah, and the need to defend Judaism, are lessons learned in my childhood. What an honor and privilege it is to be able to reinforce these lessons by supporting our community and being involved in Jewish defense organizations. For me it is a blessing.
