Our family found the Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City to be a place of comfort and enjoyment. Neither of us grew up in a community that had a Jewish Community Center. Early in our lives in Kansas City we found the JCC as a locale that was welcoming and quickly became a focal point for our family. The JCC is a place where we exercised with friends, our daughters attended camp, and we enjoyed many Jewish cultural events. The JCC was the one place where people of all Jewish denominations as well as people of all faiths came together in one community. The impact of the JCC on our family has been strong. Our gift is to help assure that the JCC is strong and relevant for the generations that will come after us.
