Our parents and grandparents taught us, by their example, that giving to the community was an important part of being a Jew. Just as the Jewish community has been here to nurture and sustain us, we have a responsibility to preserve and strengthen that community for future generations. We have been very fortunate in our lives, but some of that good fortune came to us through the efforts of others. Thus, we strongly believe that we must share it with those who need it.
