Karen and I grew up at the JCC (Louisville KY), attended Hebrew School, participated and began dating in Clubs (AZA and BBG) and loved every minute of it.  Jobs moved us around and when we landed in Overland Park one of our first stops was the JCC. Both of our sons Jeremy and Andrew enjoyed similar experiences with the KC Jewish Community after moving from Dallas TX and sharing summer camp (Camp Sabra) with OP Friends. We completed our Helzberg Leadership Class trip with a great group of future Jewish Leaders and Friends that we continue to keep in touch with after we moved to Des Moines IA. Giving back has always been a family tradition for generations and the Federation and our Synagogue have been our largest annual donations.  We think providing a lasting legacy to the KC Jewish Community Foundation will help see a strong “Jewish Life” continue for future generations. We have since moved to Denver CO and now Bellaire TX but will never forget our time in Overland Park KS.
