Ron and Gayle Levin
We were both raised in our respective homes with the values of Tikkun Olam and Tzedekah. We both remember donating money to plant trees in Israel, taking our coins to Sunday School, volunteering as we became adults and understanding the important role that we had as parents to instill the same values in our children. When both of our boys became Bar Mitzvahs, they each set up a B’nai Tzedek fund at the Jewish Community Foundation and continue to direct their yearly donations to Jewish organizations that are meaningful to them as young adults.
Now that we are in a position to reflect on our future, it was important to both of us that we create a legacy gift within the Jewish Community. It took longer to figure out other aspects of our estate than to make a decision whether to give back to the Jewish Community…..that was a very easy decision!
