Raising our child Jewish while living in an interfaith family, I felt the need to be more involved in Congregation Beth Torah than I might otherwise have been. That resulted in taking on leadership roles in the community, and learning first-hand the value of a strong Jewish context. CBT has been there for me and my family through our years in the area, and when I was approached about a legacy gift, I realized I wanted to make more than short term gifts. I wanted to help insure that Beth Torah would be here for generations to come. My legacy gift began as a response to a request, and became an important part of my estate planning process.
