Rabbi Alan and Linda Cohen

Both of us grew up in families that were closely identified with synagogues and the Jewish community. We both learned from our parents how important it is to support the community and keep it vibrant and accessible to and for others. In my case, I personally benefited from scholarships from my home congregation and the Jewish Theological Seminary in order to further my education. Were it not for those funds, my path would probably have been greatly altered. Now that we can assist others, we are grateful for that opportunity and hope that our children and grandchildren will similarly be encouraged. Their current involvement in the Jewish world carries this legacy one more generation further. Hopefully it will always continue.
